CASTING #YWDNextTeacher

Would you like to teach at one of the most important events in Spain together with the best international teachers?

 

Here's your chance!! Present your candidacy in this Online Casting and show your talent.

VIDEO UPLOAD DEADLINE:

Until  May 28 at 11:59 p.m.

COMMUNICATION 9 FINALISTS:

May 29 at 3:00 p.m.

FINALIST VOTING DEADLINE:

Until June 4th at 11:59 p.m.

WINNER COMMUNICATION:

June 5th at 3:00 p.m.

INSTRUCTIONS

1-. UPLOAD VIDEO DANCING ORIGINAL CHOREOGRAPHY

  •  Duration between 00:40 and 01:30 minutes

  • You can use a video that you already have, but it must be uploaded now expressly for the casting, it is not valid if you tag us in a video uploaded before May 18.

TERMS

PAID WORK AND PAID EXPENSES:

The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to give a 1:30h class at Yes We Dance Sevilla 2023. The day and time stipulated for this class is the one that appears in our schedule. This class will be paid and in addition, transportation, accommodation and food expenses for the day of the class will also be covered.

MINIMUM AGE TO APPLY:

You must be at least 16 years old. For candidates between 16 and 18 years old, we must have an authorization signed by their parents.​

REQUIREMENTS

TO BE A PROFESSIONAL DANCER, CHOREOGRAPHER OR TEACHER:

To be selected, you must prove that you have worked professionally as a dancer, choreographer or teacher in a school or workshop, in this way we will ensure the quality of the person chosen and their ability to teach at an event such as YWD Sevilla.

UPLOAD VIDEO OF OWN CHOREOGRAPHY:

To participate, you must upload a video to your instagram account dancing your own piece (mounted by yourself). You can use a conceptual choreographic video, a video teaching a class or any audiovisual material where we can see your talent as a choreographer and teacher.  ESSENTIAL to tag the @yeswedancesevilla account as well as use the hashtag #YWDNextTeacher and #YWDSevilla2023

BEFORE YOUR POPULARITY, COUNT YOUR TALENT:

In the first selection to choose the 9 finalists, likes, comments or external support in the videos will not be taken into account, since we want to decide by your talent and not by your followers or your ability to get likes. Once the 9 finalists have been selected, we will upload the videos of those selected to our Instagram account (on May 29th at 3:00 p.m.), and it is from here that we will take into account the support that each candidate has. We would love to read your opinions on these posts. However, this is not binding, that is, the winner should not necessarily be the one with the most votes, it will simply be taken into account in the final decision.
